The Sunburst Animal Hospital is one of the largest in the West Valley. We have five veterinarians, nine certified technicians, five veterinary assistants, six receptionists and two kennel workers on staff. We are an exclusive dog and cat hospital, but we are all pet owners and lovers of a variety of animals. We strongly emphasize continuing education for all of our employees. Welcome to our practice!

Mark A. Stevens, D.V.M - Practice Owner
Graduated from Colorado State University in 1980. His outside interests include hiking, camping, and activities with his family. His current pet population includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a lizard.










Kelly J. Blackwell, D.V.M - Associate
Graduated from University of Missouri in 2002. Her outside interests include running, hiking, outdoor activites and cooking. Her current pet population includes 2 dogs, 3 cats and a bird.

Jessica A. Reed, D.V.M - Associate
Graduated from Washington State University in 2003. Her outside interests include outdoor and family activites. Her current pet population includes 2 dogs, 2 cats and multiple fish.

Heather D. Oyan, D.V.M - Associate
Graduated from Kansas State University in 2000. Her outside interests include running and travel. Her current pet population includes 2 cats and 1 dog.

Michelle L. Porter, D.V.M. - Associate
Graduated from both Oregon and Washington State Universities in 1994. Her outside interest is hiking in Arizona. Her current pet population includes 2 dogs, 2 birds, and a lizard.
